Western Wildlife Collection

® Sam R. Ferraro - Designer of Precious Jewelry

The Royal Bull Elk
Jewelry Artist and Biologist Sam Ferraro has sculpturally blended fine metals and the distinctive features of Montana’s wildlife to create authentic wearable treasures. The Royal Bull Elk is recognized by his six-point rack, which moves like a crown above his massive folds of muscle. The Elk’s majestic stature is characteristic of this sovereign animal.

The Buffalo
Jewelry Artist and Biologist Sam Ferraro has sculpturally blended fine metals and the distinctive features of Montana’s wildlife to create authentic wearable treasures. The Buffalo, A Western Legend, heaves with forward power. Its small, forceful hindquarters ensure balance and speed. Contrasts in the metal suggest the ruggedness of this enduring symbol.

The Black Bear
Jewelry Artist and Biologist Sam Ferraro has sculpturally blended fine metals and the distinctive features of Montana’s wildlife to create authentic wearable treasures. The Black Bear is of shy disposition and has a slender body that flows to the high point on its sleek back.

The Grizzly Bear
Jewelry Artist and Biologist Sam Ferraro has sculpturally blended fine metals and the distinctive features of Montana’s wildlife to create authentic wearable treasures. The Grizzly Bear is a more aggressive relative of the Black Bear. His strength and power take on expression with his broad-dished face and a heavy-muscled mass at the top of his shoulders. Long claws warn of the Grizzly’s territorial temperament.

The Bull Moose
The Bull Moose’s massive shoulders are its center of power, while seasonal palmate antlers, and a bell which hangs from the throat, are distinguishing characteristics. The largest deer in the world appears to be awkward and shy, a prehistoric wonder. The Bull Moose is naturally balanced, quick, unpredictable and dangerous. Large hooves navigate rivers and high mountain ponds where the Moose satisfies its feeding habits.

Eagle Feather Pendant

® Sam R. Ferraro - Designer of Precious Jewelry

Biologist & Jewelry Designer, Sam R. Ferraro, combines precious Diamonds and 18K Gold into an artistic Eagle Feather jewelry design respecting natures miracle of soaring flight. The breadth of the feather provides lift enabling the Eagle to take advantage of air currents for long soaring flights.

The pave combination of Brilliant White Diamonds on the broad surface of the feather and Champagne Diamonds, on the tip of the feather, create a wearable design from the artists talent.

There are sixty-two Diamonds (total carat weight .55) paved into the surface of the metal. Forty-eight White Diamonds of exacting proportion and fourteen exquisite Champagne colored Diamonds.
